Assembly Operative - Sheet Metal assembly

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Assembly Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in sheet metal assembly who is looking for stable work and long-term prospects

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling sheet metal components using hand and power tools
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
• Ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications
• Performing basic fabrication tasks where required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Working efficiently to meet production targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sheet metal assembly is essential
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with various tools and machinery
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
